The TriNation Podcast Ep38 – Ross Murdoch

On The TriNation Podcast this week we got an insight into the world of Olympic swimmer Ross Murdoch!

Ross is most remembered for his emotional win at a home games in Glasgow 2014 and is now just days away from competing in his second Olympic Games in Tokyo.

We learnt how he overcame adversity, a dip in his mental health and how he is aiming to produce as good a performance as possible out in Tokyo. He also spoke about the dominance of his compatriot and friend Adam Peaty who has gone on to completely dominate the breaststroke scene.

We also heard his opinion on the new swim league (ISL) and has this has changed the game on the swimming scene giving an opportunity for swimmers to earn decent prize money and compete more often.

Ross certainly has plenty to say and it was great to hear the differences in training between elite swimmers and elite triathletes!
