Ironman partners with emerging Polish ‘Active Life Energy’ Brand

IRONMAN has partnered with emerging Polish Active Life Energy brand (ALE) for competitions organised in Poland.

Isotonic drinks, gels and energy bars supplied by ALE will be provided to all triathletes taking part in a number events in 2022 under the IRONMAN brand taking place in Poland, namely:

  • Citi Handlowy IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw – June 12, 2022
  • Enea IRONMAN Gdynia – August 7, 2022
  • Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań – September 4, 2022

In total, feed stations in Warsaw, Gdynia and Poznań will receive: nearly 22,000 isotonic drinks, over 16,000 gels and around 11,000 energy bars.

“Supporting athletes on course at as many as three IRONMAN events this season is a great honour for the ALE brand,” said Dominki Heftowicz, Marketing Communication Manager at ALE.

“The original formulas of our products, created by professional athletes, are perfect for many hours of maximum effort. Each year, ALE ambassadors collect hundreds of medals and dozens of championship titles, including a large group of triathletes.”

Michał Drelich, Director of IRONMAN Poland, said “Nutrition is the fourth discipline of triathlon. That is why we attach great importance to ensuring that the products that the participants of IRONMAN Poland competitions receive are of high quality.

“So, I am pleased to welcome the ALE Active Life Energy brand among our partners. It is a company that is very close to me, because I was at the beginning of its formation. We had talks about cooperation some time ago, then it failed, but this time nothing stood in the way.”

The IRONMAN Group, owner of the IRONMAN, IRONMAN 70.3 and 5150 Triathlon Series brands, is one of the largest operators of mass sporting events in the world, serving over 1 million event participants from its global portfolio annually and will host a number of events in Poland in 2022.
