IRONMAN and ROKA build on Partnership

Ironman Group has extended and expanded its sponsorship contract with multisport performance brand ROKA.

The company continues as the Official Swimwear Partner of the global Ironman Triathlon Series and also becomes its Official Technical Eyewear and Official Performance Eyewear Partner and will focus on integrating ROKA’s eyewear and sunglasses lines to a global IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 audience.

The deal will now run until 2024, building on an association between the two organisations which first began in 2014 and was expanded to include global rights in 2018.

“At every event, we see our athletes using ROKA products to perform at their best,” said Matt Wikstrom, Chief Partnerships Officer for The IRONMAN Group. “We are thrilled to continue with a leader in this category and are excited to expand our partnership with ROKA to include their cutting-edge eyewear.”

Rob Canales, chief executive officer and founder of Roka, said: “Expanding the relationship to include our world-class eyewear line is the perfect evolution. Iro athletes have been and always will be a very important part of our R&D efforts.

“The closer we are to Ironman and these inspired athletes, pushing the limits of what is possible, the better our products become. It’s an important proving ground for our team across the entire product line.”

As part of the agreement, Roka’s swimwear and eyewear ranges will be available at all Ironman and Ironman 70.3 events globally.
