Olympics: Blummenfelt taken away in WHEELCHAIR after Collapsing

Norway’s triathlon hero Kristian Blummenfelt collapsed after being violently sick after his stunning victory at Tokyo Olympics which saw him breakaway in the 10k run in the men’s triathlon to take the gold medal.

Many will have seen the Norwegian take the victory tape in 01:45:04 in the scorching, stifling heat of Tokyo and fall to the ground after a gruelling contest.

What the cameras did not pick up on was  Blummenfelt being violently sick through sheer exhaustion and being helped off the course by a steward and fellow triathlete Kiwi Hayden Wilde. Upon being handed over to medical personnel Blummenfelt was placed in a wheelchair and taken away to be attended too.

On a final point: whilst Blummenfelt is indeed the current ‘SUPERMAN’ of Triathlon someone needs to point out to the designer of the Norwegian Tri-suit kit that Superman wears his pants on the outside.
