Ironman Not Extreme Enough? Brand New Extreme Triathlon Series Launched
From one Extreme to the other, today sees the launch (1st June 2020) of a new Extreme Triathlon Series (XTS) which consists of five truly brutal events. The races are not for mere mortals but for those with nerves of steel.
The events will take place in Europe and South Africa, including the Austria Extreme, the Czech Republic’s Winterman, Stonebrixiaman in Italy, Pirene in the Spanish Pyrenees, and South Africa’s Knysna Extreme.
XTS events organisers say “Each event is unique in itself, with varying terrain, scenery, distances, challenges and characteristics but with one common feature across them all – they are all focused on the athletes’ experience, with a family atmosphere.
