361° Europe Partner With ‘Belgian Hammer’ Valerie Barthelemy

Accomplished professional triathlete and Olympian Valerie Barthelemy joins a community of rising stars as a 361° Europe athlete, after a year of Olympic success. 

The Belgian triathlete had a stellar 2021 season competing in races around the globe that included the World Triathlon Championship Series, World Cup, Super League and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where she finished 5th in the individual event and 5th as part of the ‘Belgian Hammers’ mixed relay squad.

From her success Barthelemy has decided to join forces with 361° Europe which produces running trainers and apparel, designed to support all level of athlete, from the everyday runner to the professional. This partnership will be used to take her performance to the level, with an eye on the podium at Paris 2024. Valerie will run in the team’s Fierce 2 and Kairos for training runs, and all her racing will be done in the carbon-plated Flame trainer, as worn by Katie Zaferes in her 3rd place finish at the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020. 

Valerie said “I’m really excited to be joining forces with 361° in the coming few years. I’ve always wanted to be a part of a brand I can make an impact alongside, and I’ve found that in 361°. There’s a lot of amazing stuff going on with 361° behind the scenes and I’m stoked to be a part of it”
