IRONMAN Ireland, Cork and IRONMAN 70.3 Ireland 2021 postponed
It appears not ‘all things are possible’. IRONMAN have been preparing for a safe and enjoyable 2021IRONMAN Ireland, Cork and IRONMAN 70.3 Ireland, Cork triathlon this August, after the postponement of the 2020 races.
Unfortunately, after conversations with local authorities based on the continued status of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ireland, and despite how they could be able to work within the resulting restrictions in place, it has been announced that IRONMAN Ireland, Cork and IRONMAN 70.3 Ireland, Cork cannot take place in 2021 and will return on August 13 & 14, 2022.
In positive news, IRONMAN have secured a new three-year host venue agreement to ensure that IRONMAN Ireland, Cork and IRONMAN 70.3 Ireland, Cork will happen annually in Youghal until 2024.
For all registered athletes of 2021IRONMAN 70.3 Ireland, Cork, a spot has been automatically been reserved, so they can participate on the new race date onAugust 13th, 2022.
For those who are unable to attend the event on IRONMAN 70.3 Ireland, Cork 2022, you may request an event credit voucher for IRONMAN Ireland events valid until December 31, 2024.
