1. How did you get into triathlon?

I first got into triathlon through the running coach at my primary school, who was also a coach at the local triathlon club. I then moved over to my local triathlon club Team Bodyworks where I am now coached by Glenn Cook (World Triathlon Championships 2nd, 1989) Sarah Coope (Hawaii Ironman 3rd, 1991) and Stuart Wilkinson who all have incredible backgrounds in the sport themselves.

2. How did it feel become Junior British Triathlon Champion this year?

It felt amazing. It was simply the product of a lot of hard work and it was such a great feeling to have all that rewarded.

3. What are your Plans/races for 2019 season?

Hopefully I will race Quarteira ETU Junior European Cup in April, and perhaps another couple ETU cups throughout the year. The main goal however is to get qualification for Junior Europeans and Worlds.

4. What professional triathlete inspires you?

Kristian Blummenfelt is a great role model, he races with a huge amount of guts and loves what he does.

5. Have you got any training camps coming up soon?

I am going away on a camp in Nottingham this weekend with the England Next Generation program. I will also be going on a warm weather training camp with the south east academy in February.

6. What is your favourite discipline and why?

My favourite discipline is always different. Sometimes I love cycling best, sometimes running, sometimes swimming. It all depends on my mood.

7. What is your overall goal as a triathlete?

I want to make a living training and racing.
