When?
140.6INN will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2021, an ideal date in the middle of spring to enjoy the flowered landscapes in the province of Girona with an ideal climate both to compete and to do tourism.
Location?
The province of Girona is a world reference in sport tourism, being its diversity of landscapes and emblematic roads key points to be considered a´sport paradise´. The town of Platja d’Aro will be the nerve center of the challenge.
Platja d’Aro is one of the tourist towns par excellence in Baix Empordà and one of the main Costa Brava destinations. It offers round-the-clock entertainment with no shortage of leisure options and activities. In the morning, for example, you can go for a swim at the main beach or at one of the nearby little coves. The early evening is a good time for strolling and shopping, making the most of the cooler temperatures. When the sun goes down it’s time to enjoy the terraces, bars and restaurants.

In addition to this, the Tradeinn International Triathlon 140.6 will share out a purse of €30,000 in prizes for professional triathletes, alongside great prizes for the Age-Group winners.
One of the richest prize purses on the international scene, the first male and female participants will take away €7,000, with a prize of €4,000 for second place, €2,500 for third place, €1,500 for fourth place and €500 for the fifth place.
The winners from any of the 12 Age Groups will also receive financial reward for their dedication in the shape of a €250 voucher which can be spent at any Tradeinn website, the event organiser and a world leader in the e-commerce sector.

Swim Course
3800m in the open sea. Starting and finishing in Platja d´Aro
Bike Course
80km in a circuit of a single lap accumulating a difference in altitude of 2100m. A challenge that integrates the most emblematic parts of the province of Girona and its diversity of landscapes.
Run Course
42.2 km with departure and arrival in Platja d´Aro. The foot race will consist of 4 laps entirely along the Platja d´Aro promenade

The Tradeinn International Triathlon is offering an early bird promotion registration for the cost of€149.99 until October 31, thereafter, it is €199.95 if you register between 1 November and 31 January, and €249.95 after 1 February.
In the event that the date of Tradeinn International Triathlon is affected by the COVID-19 global pandemic, the organisation undertakes to REFUND the INTEGRAL AMOUNT of the event to those participants who cannot compete on the new proposed date.
