Spanish Olympian Triathlete Anna Godoy who was to take part in the 2021 Super League Championship is presently completing ten-day isolation period at the Radisson Blu in Jersey after testing positive for Covid-19 according to the Jersey Evening Post.
Godoy’s quarantine rules her out of next Saturdays 2021 Championship finale in Malibu California.
Godoy is joined in quarantine by Super League Triathlon co-founder and former Ironman world champion Chris McCormack who also produced a positive PCR test upon his arrival at Jersey Airport on Thursday evening
Although both cases are asymptomatic, the pair under Government of Jersey regulations, must now remain in isolation in their hotel rooms until at least Sunday.
