BT Sport to provide airtime to PTO’s Collins Cup and new documentary

Agreement has been reached between The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) and BT Sport to broadcast highlights of the Collins Cup later this summer in addition to PTO’s new Documentary ‘Beyond Human’

Back in April we published an article (Beyond Human’ – captures the raw brutality) covering The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) as they commissioned award winning Sport documentary specialist Noah Media Group to create a documentary. This is a top-level documentary showcasing the incredible stories of unique triathletes Lionel Sanders (Canada), Sebastien Kienle (Germany) and Heather Jackson (USA) as they prepare for the organisation’s flagship event –The Collins Cup– with triathlons biggest prize purse – a whopping $1.5m

We said at the time as soon as we find out a date of release, we would be sure to let you know. Well, we can now tell you that BT Sports channels will air the two-part series of PTO’s Beyond Human on the 7th of July and the 23rd August respectively, prior to the Collins Cup event. You can watch the trailer of the documentary here or see a full exclusive of episode one via the PTO website here. Beyond Human 2-part Documentary will also be streamed via Discovery+ and Eurosport in Europe and Asia from 7th July.

In addition,BT Sport will also be broadcasting hour-long highlights show of the PTO’s Collins Cup later this summer, 24 hours after the race has ended. Full live, uninterrupted and highlights coverage of the Collins Cup will be aired across Eurosport 2 and Eurosport app across 56 countries in Europe with highlight also on Eurosport 1. It will also be broadcast live and with highlights across Asia and India.
