We’ve been running for ‘One Year’ now!
It is hard to believe, but it’s just over one year ago that TriNation was launched! One year on and we’ve maintained a consistent flow of news content on the website and social media platforms and published 100’s of triathlon related articles.
It has been an amazing and productive journey to get to this stage, not that it was all smooth sailing, there were a fair few challenges but launching a site is a long journey. Nonetheless, the focus was always on bringing you content not just on training and racing but also on elite and performance triathletes around the world and following the daily lives of athletes from juniors right through to elites.
In September, we announced that TriNation had been listed by Feedspot as one of the Top 100 Triathlon Websites and Influencers in the World for triathletes to follow in 2020. Six months on and TriNation has made the quantum leap of being ranked 30th in the world for triathletes to follow in 2021, with TriNation entering the Podcast charts in 15th spot.
One of TriNation’s success stories has been its Podcast with the first episode launched on April 16 2020. The TriNation Podcast is hosted by elite triathlete and founder of TriNation, Luke Howard with co-host Andrew Woodroffe, High Performance Triathlon Coach at the University of Stirling, who both bring a real vibe to the conversation. The Podcast discusses a range of in-depth topics that surround the world of multisport and triathlon. Luke and Andrew bring on a wide variety of special guests that include world-class coaches, elite triathletes, Olympians, and many more. To-date their engaging interviews with all-star guests range from World Champion, Vincent Luis and Toyko-bound, Jess Learmonth to Olympic medalist, Henri Schoeman and GB swimmer and Olympic medalist, Duncan Scott to name but a few.
We would like to thank all our listeners who have given positive feedback on how our podcasts not only entertain but inspire and motivate while you train. Click the link for the full extensive list of TriNation Podcasts.
Special mention goes out to Andrew Woodroffe, Head Performance Triathlon Coach at the University of Stirling; co-host on the TriNation Podcast and wordsmith extraordinaire to the famed TriNation ‘Coaches Corner’ that gives insight on how to unleash your energy and commitment to unlock your potential and maximise your performance.
Also, a special mention goes to TriNation content contributor Tomos Land; a Welsh elite triathlete, studying journalism and politics at Cardiff University, whose submitted articles over the year on the ‘why’s’ and ‘how’s’ of triathlon have provided context on performance, managing expectations and important information on how to move forward with your training tactics and planning.
Finally, we’d like to personally thank all our readers, listeners and guests for supporting TriNation throughout the year, enabling us to unlock the world of triathlon and keep bringing you the latest triathlon news, articles, videos, podcasts & interviews.
