‘Beyond Human’ – captures the raw brutality
Ever wanted a ‘fly-on-the-wall’ look at what it takes to be the very best in one of the toughest sports on the planet and see how elite triathletes live and excel to the limits of human capacity.
The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) commissioned award winning Sport documentary specialist Noah Media Group to create a documentary following PTO Professionals Lionel Sanders (Canada), Sebastien Kienle (Germany) and Heather Jackson (USA) as they prepare for the organisation’s flagship event – The Collins Cup – with triathlons biggest prize purse – a whopping $1.5m.
With unfiltered access to these top triathletes, a long-form documentary called “Beyond Human” is being created by award-winning Noah Media. Observational filming captures the athletes’ day-to-day willingness to suffer, exploring the remarkable physicality and mentality required to constantly push the body to new extremes.
Now Noah Media have released a “Beyond Human” trailer to showcase how the documentary visually combines ‘fly-on-the-wall’ access doc- style filming with high-end cinematography, to capture the raw brutality but also the beauty of the sport.
Chris Hay (director/ producer) of ‘Beyond Human’ said “Our characters are among the most driven, single-minded and motivated in the world. Their engaging personalities – combined with their bloody- minded and relentless pursuit of more – make for compelling and inspiring viewing”.
‘Beyond Human’ appears to have all the ingredients to deliver a top-level documentary showcasing the incredible stories of unique triathletes at the pinnacle of their chosen sport. Although a date has not been set for its release, it will be this year and as soon as we find out we will be sure to let you know.
